|An unusual small domestic regulator. The shallow arch case with brass inlaid canted corners to the hood has further brass inlaid columns to the trunk of the clock which proceeds down into a panelled base with a cut plinth. The mahogany veneers are of fine quality and slightly faded which gives a lovely warm colour to the clock.|
The silvered brass shallow arch dial is 10? wide, which is smaller than usual, and is signed for the maker in the arch ‘Thomas Delasalle, London’. It has a large seconds ring below XII and the main dial has Roman hour numerals.
The 8 day timepiece movement has a deadbeat escapement. It has a wood rod pendulum with heavy brass bob and a brass cased weight.
