|This Swedish bent wire and embossed tolework chandelier has shaped and stamped reflectors and sconces. The reflectors would originally have been polished or indeed silver gilt to reflect the candlelight. The central turning has the original paint and is based upon the 17th century Dutch brass bulbous shaped chandeliers. It has a lovely light feel and apparently at Christmas time the wires would be covered in paper decorations. Swedish, circa 1790.|
