|An unusual Folk Art model of a country house with a stable block behind. Above the front door is a holder for a pocket watch, for which purpose the owner of the house may well have commissioned this piece. It has the original paint and is set on a scalloped base. The house has lovely detail including dentil cornice, stone mullioned windows and a number of tall chimneys. The stable block has two arched entrances. It has a North Country feel. English, circa 1840.|
