|This beautiful head of a Buddha is very well preserved, albeit broken off its body. Beautifully carved, it radiates a calm and peace and has remarkable presence. It is an excellent example of the Northern Qi Dynasty period's sculpture, one of the high points of Chinese sculpture, which we are learning about from finds of caches of buried sculptures.|
